This project was a collaboration with Columbus Crew, a renowned team in Major League Soccer (MLS), focused on redesigning their mascot into a child-friendly version for promotional use. The goal was to create a playful and approachable character while staying true to the team’s identity and the original mascot’s essence. Using retro cartoon aesthetics, vibrant colors, and expressive details, the illustration appeals to young fans and is versatile for digital campaigns, printed materials, and merchandise. This work showcases expertise in character design for sports branding, adapting mascots for new demographics, and creating visuals aligned with team branding and league standards. The Columbus Crew mascot redesign highlights the ability to deliver professional illustrations that engage target audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
